During the Elektrotechniek 2009 fair the ETOP Innovation Awards will be presented; the awards par excellence for innovations in the field of electrical engineering. TKF has submitted Demopac® as an entry.

Demopac® is an innovative plastic reel that can be dismantled into two parts with a single movement of the hand. The separate parts are easy to stack for storage or transport. Thanks to the strong plastic, the reel can be used far more often than traditional reels. Significantly so even. And what is more, Demopac® can be entirely recycled in accordance with the cradle-to-cradle principle. More information
On Wednesday 27 May the nominations for the ETOP Innovation Awards 2009 were published and Demopac® has been nominated! The judges’ report of Demopac® read as follows: “TKF proves that a simple idea can be used on a large scale with its entry of the Demopac cable reel. According to the jury this cradle-to-cradle product offers great advantages such as economy of space during storage and transport and it is furthermore recyclable.”
In addition, we are also contending for the ETOP Public Award. Demopac® is on view at the fair at the entrance to hall 8. You can cast your vote for TKF for the ETOP Innovation Awards Public Award 2009 online here.
